This mountain is the symbol of the village of Alleghe, famous for its ski slopes and the Transcivetta, a feature race which takes place in mid-July at the foot of Mount Civetta. But what is really unique about this mountain is the changing of its colors depending on the season and on the position of the sun in the morning: for example in winter, peaks are tinged with a yellow-pink colour and in summer peaks turn into a beautiful red colour.
